Basic Info.

Dihexa, also known as N-hexanoic acid-tyrosine-isoleucine-(6)-aminohexanamide, is an oligopeptide drug and an angiotensin IV analog. It is orally active and can penetrate the blood-brain barrier. It has a high affinity for hepatocyte growth factor (HGF) and enhances the activity of its receptor c-Met.

 Dihexa has shown excellent antipsychotic activity and cognitive improvement in animal models and has the potential to study and treat Alzheimer's disease.
